Participate in marches, which is a far cry from what Will is doing which is why I'm not embarrassing myself on main criticizing him for his action.

The other things I saw that you listed were either more vague shit, or more gardening, so sorry I'm not taking your rants terribly seriously.
January 18, 2026 at 8:54 PM
The example I saw you give was literally teaching gardening. If you think that is more impactful than what Will is doing, you are delusional.

Lmao it is always some vague "community organizing"

The important thing is that you found a way to still be mad at liberals

Oh and genocide and BIPOC with autism

I like how polyamory is adjacent to 'MC is a refugee'

I also found the audio cues easier to time against than the visual ones

These people just want to doom post, facts be damned

If you skip the basics I am skeptical you will be equipped for more advanced design. This doesn't affect my job prospects, but I can see a future full of companies vying for an ever more limited pool of senior engineering talent and no viable pipeline to skill up juniors.

Sure but those skills are often strengthened by the mechanics of solving more trivial problems

Same, there have been many terrible things that happened over the last 10 years, but that one felt almost the most senseless.

That isn't really how we've treated other leaks. Reality Winner had the longest sentence for a classified leak and it was 5 years.

Neither of those studies refuted the need to increase housing stock. Both SF and Melbourne are spectacularly bad examples as both still have extremely restrictive building requirements that prevent new housing stock.
November 27, 2025 at 1:41 PM
Love the bot accusations when someone fails to make the case that somehow housing is exempt from market forces. Also no one here is claiming markets work perfectly.
November 27, 2025 at 4:34 AM
Yes my point is that if private real estate builds a lot of housing units, prices fall e ceteris paribus. Sitting on assets hoping for appreciation doesn't even work if more people are producing said assets en masse.
November 26, 2025 at 10:15 PM
Also the regulations that prevent dense housing generally also prevent such conversations
November 26, 2025 at 3:19 PM
Lmao that paper hasn't even been peer reviewed.
November 26, 2025 at 3:13 PM
Today's luxury housing is tomorrow's middle range housing is next week's affordable housing. Building more housing stock accelerates that trend.
November 26, 2025 at 3:10 PM
What do you think the YIMBY groups are trying to address? Their central thesis is we haven't been building enough housing stock in places people want to live for the past 40 years.

Gene Wolfe was designing industrial machinery for a few years after Shadow of the Torturer was released, so like, yeah...

Scouts doesn't militarize our youth. You can maybe argue that it installs too much deference to authority but there aren't direct ties to the military like JROTC. The DoD previously helped because they viewed its emphasis on character as a plus for soldiers. But now we have a mean drunk as SecDef.

Can't wait to trade 6 minutes of programming for a Danish and coffee
