I've recently shifted completely to LibreWolf, Firefox Sync works fantastic with it, carries everything over
It's privacy focused so if you want to run it like a regular browser, change these settings and you just have regular Firefox minus the AI

To be fair, the absolute best way to play the Virtual Boy is on a 3DS with Red Viper.
Stereoscopic 3D without an expensive set of table goggles that you can only buy if you also have the online subscription which you are required to keep to even use the goggles at all.
