I think what's happened is like the melalueca argument.....we have our own species of trees (yes cousins) of all the south Pacific flora. The more hardy of them survived in our climate.

Well this can of hamburger mince and onions was made 3 years ago. That batch was waterbathed for over 3 hours. I use the Fowlers method. Very old method in Australia.
Haven't poisoned anyone yet. I bottle half, freeze half. Sometimes make the soup into powdered instant soup.

I Waterbath/preserve my soups. The chicken/vege one here doesn't have the barley. Next batch will though because it will be for the winter months. I love stewy soup with fresh crusty bread and butter.

I was worried about the yellow but it brings the little girl out of the frame ....like literally optical illusion? But I think that's the point! And the framers put the poem on the back ...so all is cool. (They called it 'letter of authentication')

I think this is some kind of Azalea but I'm going to call it the white wedding bush. Standing near it makes you feel like being engulfed in wedding dress petticoats
