Karvelas isn’t consistent enough for me. But this article is beyond the pale. She accuses the PM of cynically calculating the timing of his marriage. When IS an appropriate time? She claims he uses ‘vitriolic’ language. Since when? She doesn’t name the Labor ‘insiders’ who question the PM’s judgment

That’s what I noticed too. L-NP politicians too despite Ley’s questioning the venue. Littleproud even lauded Jodie stating she had conducted herself with grace representing Australia on the international stage and that he was happy the PM found love again. They’re not #abc celeb journalists to me.

Australians ARE much too busy to fully engage. From what I’ve seen even MSM and the L-NP aren’t interested in using a low key wedding, paid for the PM and his partner to besmirch them. Yet these two are obsessed by it. They’re determined to recast it as political opportunism. #ThisIsNotJournalism

Crabb and Karvelas think they’re the ones on top of their game in their ‘analysis’ of the PM’s wedding and his future. Instead their commentary comes across as shallow and out of touch. It’s their future that is dire not his. The electorate has moved on from such trite understandings of #Auspol.
