One of my favorite birds, the rough-legged hawk. It visits MN only in the winter whereas that’s when many people want to leave! It’s such a thrill to watch them hover 😍

Everyday, for the last couple of weeks, I’ve seen this red tailed hawk hanging around across the road from where I live. It’s usually so far away I can’t get a good picture but today!! I came home and there it was in all its glory!! It’s almost like it was posing for me😍🪶🪶
