Check for anything dateable - small pieces of pottery, worked stone or similar. It could just be evidence of a forest fire from days gone by but there could be people there too. I love it when nature helps archaeology 🤓 ☺

My tree is covered with memories- bits picked up on travels, things that are special. I once vetoed my late husband buying a really tacky decoration (a plastic drive through burger place!). Now he's not here I feel like I should have said yes! I think about that every year. I'd definitely read that!

My dad went to see them play, back in the day. He remembers the irresistible urge to dance but that wasn't allowed and anybody who did was physically stopped and made to sit down again!
