Putting in my predictions out for RE9: Grace saves Leon in some way (likely from the infection he’s fighting, that is if he even is fighting one) but he is no longer able to physically fight himself for whatever reason so he takes a backseat role, becoming her mentor.

Chris is still a part of the story but his role as a main character is over. I think the same is gonna happen with the rest of the cast. They’re not ignoring certain characters, they’re putting a nice bow on their stories with each new game. Which is why I think RE10 will be Jill centered.
