This piece is in my local art museum and every time I go I stop to study it for a few minutes. Rockwell was such a master at telling a story through a single image and depicting little moments of pure humanity

My Retro Space Marines from @bequestminiatures.bsky.social just arrived! Customer service from the online shop they use was absolutely excellent.
The minis themselves are dead-on for RT marines, scale and all. Plus they're pewter so I don't have to worry about varnishing them 3 times! 🫠

Trying to improve my sculpting skills with a Legatine Axe + Agyrum Shield for my #Ultramarines Optae. Need a sanding but that'll be tomorrow after fully dry. And of course I can cover some mistakes with paint ;)
