New desk progres: Sanded,primed and painted that cabinet door with cabinet paint so it's nice and durable. Stain a piece of trim to look kind of like walnut or whatever. And stuck together a little frame for the underside... might be able to assemble today.

Building a new computer desk starting with this 3/4 in thick cabinet door i pulled from the ikea as-is section... since its a computer desk, the texture on the ends won't be an issue... stay tuned.

So here's a new thing. See that one section at the narrowest part of the wrist? That's the big z stretch fur. The rest of the fur is regular stuff. So this is a case where the wrists are nicer because they expand when the hand goes in and hug once it's passed there because stretch.

So this came up and I wanted to talk about it a bit- pictured here is my standard neck. It is enough to tuck into a shirt and you could pin it down to an under shirt or whatever. Where the pins are is sort of an outline of what I would consider a cropped neck.

... weird that home goods has a shockingly large amount of fur options. They're throws, all good quality fur, more than a yards worth each for between 25 and 60 dollars a yard-ish. Almost all lined in a same-color minky.

Oh, hey hotdamn, found pics of a set of spikes I did for freind using similar methods. The spikes are Urethane foam so they were soft and could bump into people and things without fear of damage! The guy they were made for also spent his time asswhoopin and running around like a maniac. SAFETY YALL.

So heres a neat thing I did a while back for my guy for his larp character. The character had a mutation that made these scales on his arms- and we needed a fast-on fast-off low insulating way to do it so I used fabri tac to stick faux leather scales to power mesh and we blended with airbrush.

Pretty much how I set up to do my glove drafting.
It's a pretty direct process and most of the time, i'm able to take the tracings people sent me and just glue it directly onto the poster board and go.
