It was made abundantly clear to me as a solider that if I shot a man and he fell to the ground, even if holding his weapon, it was a crime if I then shot him again if he did not make any threating move.

We have always been a fairly solid ally of the US in Australia but in recent times that has wavered and in the last 12 months I think find most of us want to have as little to do with the US as possible.
