once again i cannot emphasize enough that transphobia is almost entirely an elite panic. the overwhelming majority of people simply do not care—it is media and political elites who are obsessed with us and keep bending over backwards to justify and spread transphobia.

the idea that trans rights have swung elections to republicans is a fiction made up by media and political elites (both conservative and liberal) who are personally transphobic and want transphobia to be politically popular so they no longer have to hide how disgusting they think trans people are

- rewards are entirely cosmetic (mounts, title, transmog)
- discourages infinite grind
- difficult in fun ways, rather than bottlenecked by healer and dps throughput
- no trash (:

- mostly for fun
- gear is nonexistant
- multiple ways to manually adjust difficulty
- higher difficulty only gives you more of the rewards you could get at lower difficulty

its not remotely similar at all and is in fact as different as possible (which is why i like it) but the new ffxiv "quantum" thing is basically what i wish mythic+ was more like, tho it is a bit of a grind to unlock (classic ffxiv problem)

ive been desperately craving a vacation recently since its been a long and distressing summer but i really need someone to share it with or itll just feel hollow. taking a few days off to no-life ffxiv at least ensures im doing stuff with other people

we cleared floor 100 after about 12 hours of leisurely and amusing blind prog. was a pretty good time, some cool bosses in there, especially the final. thank god they let you practice it separate once you wipe to it cause hooboy. excited to get to work on the quantum mode of it tomorrow
