a really awesome boston area librarian who i used to work with has been missing since thursday, sept. 7th. please help spread the word so she’s found

in a bittersweet turn of events, sweet 10 y/o riggs has come back to live with my gf & me permanently. we’re so glad we can give him a loving, relaxing home for his senior years, but we’re devastated for our dear friend who had to make the incredibly hard choice to rehome him

was checking the weather forecast for this week and am slightly alarmed that on thursday we’re apparently getting a sentient thunderstorm ?!!?!?

the airplane gods have blessed me with A WHOLE ROW TO MYSELF

i don’t know what i did to deserve this but i shall accept and treasure this unexpected gift with my whole entire heart

today’s food app delivery order is actually food, and this time it’s courtesy of my out of town gf and it’s pho from my favorite place! soup cures all, right?

(this morning’s covid test was still negative, but my afternoon symptoms have me concerned, so i’m placing my hope in soup)

just had to order more covid tests from CVS for delivery via uber eats bc gf is out of town and i just used our last one (it was negative but i’m low grade feverish, my throat hurts, and in theory i’m supposed to work tomorrow) so that’s how my saturday evening is going

trying to figure out who bluesky me will be 😅 over there i had a personal account for fandom screeching and just general friend chatting, and a professional one for librarian-y things. should i just .. be both of me over here? UNCLEAR at present (help)
