In most cases, I agree. Know how to defend yourself. In this situation, I think she was a perfect! I’m afraid she would have been made out to be a “crazy lady” and this contrast, their violence against her non-violence is good for people to see. This woman could be any of us. Sigh.

You have to do what feels safe to you and many people will relate to that. However the problem is eventually they’re coming for you too. Who will stand up for you?

You can only imagine the fear this strikes in many women who also are surprised that nobody got up to help at all.
