5 games in and Ys VIII is still my favorite but this a close second. This game was just simply so much fun to play!

Well that stings...
With Ys VIII and IX, I completed about 90% of the world map (maybe a tiny bit more), but I think Ys X is the first time I've 100% an entire world map in a Ys game. And all that's left is the final boss and ending. This game has been so much fun!

While I don't think most of the songs are as good as part 1's aside from 2 or 3 of them and maybe it's because the only Wicked media I've experienced is the movies, but I have several questions about the scarecrow and lion. But its themes and emotional core are as strong as ever.

I know that Ys X: Proud Nordics is coming out early next year, but this is a rental from the library near my side of town so screw it. That and I was going to put a hold on the PS5 version since my brother in law allowed me to play games on it, I realized that he has a PS5 Pro so no physical games.
