I work at home on Friday, and my home office looks out over this view. I looked up and noticed this scene and had to walk outside to take it in.

Over break, I didn’t get caught up on any of that stuff that I said I would.
I did spend a couple days with my 4 amazing kids, precious family time, ski with my ski peeps and son, play soccer & wasted a day doing nothing at all.
Ready to savor this last month of 2025 and ease into what’s next.

When we had our small farm, Emmy Lou was our proud protector. A Great Pyrenees that took her job seriously, yet also wanted to climb onto our laps for some loving. Best dog ever.

I’m not a lazy person. Quite the opposite, actually. I’m often unproductive because of poor planning and organizational skills that I’m constantly trying to work on.
Poor organizational skills lead to: confusion, fear, lack of interest, overwhelm, and distraction. A common theme.
