Sorry for your loss. My first dog was a border. Never wanted us to pet her, but always wanted to be around us. Loved food, so much. Had so many opinions.

Yeah… I’m 62 and feeling officially old. I didn’t mind that I couldn’t understand the words, but ya know… I just didn’t think it wasn’t terribly musical. A lot of “hai hai hai”, and a range of about 4 notes. Props for the set though.

As a Mainer, I feel I should steer you towards lobstah. But people put lobster in things like Mac and Cheese, and I’m invariably disappointed. Plus, I grew up in MD and have a soft spot for blue crab.

Ospreys vs eagles. Crows vs everyone except ravens. I thought ravens were above the fray. Rethinking if they should be my spirit animal.

Fascism is, unfortunately, very human. It simply asks you to find someone that you can kick, so that you feel better about yourself. We are not a great species.

Hard pass on that molded vegetable “salad”.

I love woodcocks. Had a mother and several chicks cross the road in front of me. They all did the excruciatingly slow little woodcock strut and were like “we are so totally cool and camouflaged”. The minute thy got off the road and into the brush they did completely vanish.

I like otter tracks, mice tracks, squirrel tracks, fox tracks, turkey tracks. But deer tracks not so much. I would prefer deer to be a bit more scarce, even if the doe and her two yearlings are cute when they watch the house.

Seems gross but maybe lab grown protein isn’t a bad idea? Let’s ask the cows!

You should have made it 3 days ago when it was 2 degrees out there!

But at least it is *reliably* terrible.

Um… Im caucasian, eat just about anything, believe people who have allergies, and don’t make up food allergies to be cool. My hopelessly caucasian friends don’t either. Your post is a bit offensive.

I would like to speak for the fish, who do not care for the egrets.

Peas are easy for me to grow, but hard to harvest. Like… they are perfect for a very short window and if you miss the window they are starchy and tough. Also, the window is different for each pod on the vine. I am now a fan of frozen peas.

Garlic is super easy. We grow about 75 heads every year…. Enough to last until the next harvest, while still having cloves to plant. Bush green beans are also very easy. I like cukes, but haven’t been all that successful with them.

What crime did the goose commit? What sort of drama unfolded?

The sky in Maine looked like that this morning, but I admired it from my Fortress of Blankets until it faded.

Husband just had oral surgery and needs soups, yogurt, ice cream, etc. So I made leek and potato soup for dinner. So good. Must eat it all winter long.

I lost my 6 year old dog to cancer 3 weeks ago and cried for days, but I totally get this. Thinking I might start traveling again and do random spur of the moment things.

No. Easy Bake ovens get kids excited about baking. Air fryers are just utilitarian. But I don’t have kids and will accept correction.
