I guess he'd know how that works. Just saying. "Trump has publicly speculated the attack against Omar was staged, calling the lawmaker a “fraud” and claiming, “She probably had herself sprayed, knowing her.” Those claims ....were refuted Thursday by House Speaker Mike Johnson."

It really makes you wonder if/when this nightmare ends how can we think we can even coexist with people like these. I hated when Hilary called them "deplorable" but it appears she may have seen through the veneer.

Umm, TBH, I had great hope for Jeffries in the beginning, but I am a bit underwhelmed now. I'm not sure he has the skill set needed to lead in this moment. Give me an AOC, a Chris Murphy, or a Melanie Stansbury, at this point they seem to have more passion for doing what needs to be done.

I've been in a couple of book clubs and I think their value is that often times the "chosen book" is something I'd never read on my own. Sometimes it's a real stinker, but even with those I try to find something of redeeming value.

We need to lift up individuals of this caliber whether they are in the public eye or the man/woman/child next door. They should be our heroes, not those of celebrity, money, or extraordinary skill whose MOST NOTED claim to fame is either the celebrity, money, or extraordinary skill.

I don't remember anyone giving him a pass. He took advantage of his position, power, and the age differential. What is far worse, though, is his disrespect to the office of president, and his disrespect of her as a person trying to protect his own skin.
