There was a game in high school where I (QB) got hit on every play. Run, pass, didn’t matter. Ball could be gone 3-4 seconds. I asked the refs when they were gonna throw a flag and they said “When you don’t get up”. Had that flashback after that hit on Mendoza on that Indiana drive.
