Completely disagree. She has now
(rightly) gone to appeal which I expect she will win. The judge's ruling has already been amended through a certificate of correction.

You are surely not condoning the actions? It was sex by deception which affected the freedom and indeed capacity of the victim to choose whether or not to engage in sexual activity. Clearly the right decision here.
