I’m fascinated to see who they think is going to nominate them. Whatever about Flatley, it seems very clear that McGregor has no route to the ballot paper.

Thank you!

I’ll turn on my green light when I take the next door kids to the park tomorrow 😂

Got one now, if you want it?

Friend request I mean
July 16, 2025 at 6:59 PM
Sent an invite. I can offer two neighbour kids around lunch time IST tomorrow too! 😂
July 16, 2025 at 6:58 PM
Happy to invite, send me your code for a raid tomorrow?

‘Plenty of room here’ seems a little ironic and also not a sign of a successful event.

This happened to Latino service men too. Alfred Rascon got his MOH from Clinton for service in Vietnam. (Not to diminish anyone else, just point out that racism is the gift that keeps on giving)

It was a kid from Darndale’s hand. He blew it off messing with gas. It’s just sad, not funny.

I was genuinely terrified when he had that health scare. And my toddler likes the books about him. 😉

If this many people told me my goofing around was tired and kinda racist, I would be mortified. As kindly as I can say this… isn’t it weird to neither have nor want to have any interest in other cultural perspectives?

She was on the Bad Hasbara podcast with @mattlieb.bsky.social a few months ago discussing Doppleganger, really interesting stuff.

So 2 years ago, for part of the island. Good to know the legacy of colonialism can be counted in months. 🙄

Do you get the difference between mocking a marginalised, stigmatised language and the language of empire? It’s punching down vs punching up.

I was just thinking the other day, I wish there was a non-evil platform to just see my friends’ holiday snaps/pets/wedding/baby pics again, without having to worry I’m going to accidentally get radicalised.

Irish people enjoy humour that is funny. If you make jokes about Irish being silly or how we love potatoes, expect a long history lecture.
January 11, 2025 at 1:00 PM
It’s the same joke that’s been made 10,000 times before and it’s not as hilarious as ignorant people think.
January 11, 2025 at 12:05 PM
To be fair, they need the most help. Irish speakers don’t even know what’s going on.
January 11, 2025 at 10:42 AM
Tongue and cheek?! The irony. My phone just corrected that 4 times. 😂😂😂
January 11, 2025 at 10:38 AM
Why is it ok to make fun of Irish names? Do you do this to names from other cultures? Irish pronunciation is actually far more consistent than English (ghoti for fish) but they are different sounds, because it’s a different language. If you don’t know, just ask. Learn something new.

They will jump out you know. The other thing is a myth
