Another #picture from my #OrpheusandEurydice series shows an #amaryllis. A #flower that is still #aesthetic even when it slowly fades. #Eurydice dies of a snakebite and has to descend to #Hades. However, like the amaryllis, she retains her beauty.

This work is from my #OrpheusandEurydice series. The bluebell tree or #kiritree grows three meters a year. A fast-growing and robust #tree, perhaps made for the #Elysium?

#Lotuscapsules stand for purity, renewal and the cycle of life. In my series on #OrpheusandEurydice, they fit well as an element in the #underworld. The #lotus pod could be a #metaphor for #Eurydice's purity.
