What an achievement this campaign has been so far for Rovers.

Hopefully a suitable tie awaits them in the knockouts to keep the run going 🤞☘️☘️🟢⚪️🟢⚪️

With the FAI National League on the way, it will be interesting how the Ulster teams and leagues will be included in a potential future pyramid.

With the USL now gone, and no Connacht wide league, perhaps a North-West/West League could be developed to be on par with the LSL and MSL.

Knockout football for Rovers in the New Year, unbelievable to achieve and to still be unbeaten and having a great chance of finishing in the Top 8 too is even better.

Hopefully can keep some of our important players for it and keep pushing further.

Based on some of the comments referenced, there are too many involved in Irish football that are self serving and cant/dont want to see the bigger picture

This is a change that will allow for better synergy across all levels and is one that should have been done years ago

A step in the right direction. Crazy that sections of the game have been operating unaligned for so long.

Should make the future of completions across levels more interconnected and perhaps the start of building a pyramid
News from the FAI - General Assembly agree to a phased move to an aligned, summer calendar for all parts of the game. Passed with 57% in favour

Going to be going interesting time going into the New Year, barely any rest for the squad between Chelsea game and pre-season starting. Hopefully we can keep this strong form going.

Bring on the knockouts ☘️☘️🟢⚪️🟢⚪️🟢⚪️

Handy chart to share with those who want to #VoteLeftTransferLeft

Remember: With our system of PR-STV you should give your #1 vote to your favourite option. If your #1 doesn't get elected your entire vote will go to your #2 to help get them elected, but your #1 will have benefited too.

Knockout European football in 2025. Absolutely incredible achievement for all involved. Let’s keep this going! 🟢⚪️🟢⚪️🟢☘️☘️☘️

Really hoping for another Cup final day out with the Hoops soon 🤞🤞
The Hoops are going back to the Aviva ☘️

Bit of a mental move, but suppose could give the game the attendance it deserves

As mentioned earlier in the week, I have a few prints knocking around with slight defects, I don't want to throw them away, so I thought they could find a home here.

Who doesn't appreciate Carlos Valderrama's hair?

Share the post if you want it and I'll pick a winner at some arbitrary time ⚽

Looking forward to the future articles to come highlighting the fractured state of Intermediate and Junior football in Ireland.

For me, forming those levels into a functioning “non-league” pyramid below the LOI should be a key focus, and then build a 3rd tier above, rather than build down from LOI

It's time for a Left Government. That means ruling out coalition with FF and FG. People Before Profit are the only party guaranteeing you that your vote won't be used to prop up FF and FG.

Over 100 cities and towns have introduced free public transport.

A growing number of countries have implemented it nationwide.

It is a climate measure that puts money back in people's pockets, cuts traffic and increases our air quality.

Let's do it here too!

Accessibility to facilities is a key factor that needs improving as well.

There should be no barriers for any players/teams to a suitable standard of facilities to reach their full potential.

Improved co-operation between the sporting bodies would help immensely towards this
Football desperately needs the support of the next government to help develop a full-time academy system. Without that support, 🇮🇪 will fall further down the rankings over the next 5 to 10 years, esp considering the impact of Brexit has yet to reach the Sen international team. Time is not our friend.

First Division standard is going from strength to strength.

Hopefully we’ll see a close and competitive title fight as well as for the playoff spots.
The race for promotion in 2025.

As much as Im hoping to see Rovers get the league title back, I would love to have a day out in the Aviva like 2019 again.

Hopefully another competitive campaign ahead that see the league continue on its upward trajectory. #LOI
What a year ahead.

Drogheda did well today to maintain their Premier Division status. Always looked as having that extra level of quality.

Credit to Bray tho, not many expected them to make it to this stage.

Great to see another good crowd for the occasion too.

PBP is your ticket to free, fast and frequent public transport

No fares cuts queues, improves reliability, takes cars off the road tackling traffic and emissions

PBP's manifesto has allocated the funding to double investment in new buses, trams and trains, to increase frequency and services
