Join me this #EarthDay and every day by honoring our planet through simple actions like keeping our parks, roads, and waterways clean.

Let’s do it for the next generation, and the one after that.

It’s a harsh reminder of the everyday impact we have on our environment and the responsibility we share to protect it.

We only have one Earth. It’s up to us to take care of it—not just today, but every day.

This #EarthDay2025 I’m reminded of what we leave behind:

Broken wires. Empty vape cartridges. Rusted car parts. Cigarette butts. Plastic wrappers. Shattered glass bottles.

These are just some of the things we picked up during our annual Road Cleanup. 🧵

While many of my colleagues are on spring break, I’m out knocking doors, hearing from my constituents about their concerns: unjust cuts to public education, tariffs that hurt your pocket books, and the looming state budget. #michigan #education #tariffs #macombcounty #cityofwarren

As a legislator and a former refugee, I know firsthand the sacrifices of those who come to this country in search of safety and opportunity. We can’t allow policies based on fear and division to dictate our future.

Trump Tariffs will impact Canada's ability to deliver energy and oil to the
US, and our gas and grocery prices will most certainly increase, but I don't believe they will completely cut it off. The US is Canada's biggest oil exporter and $ moneymaker $ #Michigan #energy #internationaltrade #tarriffs
