I would expect nothing less from the WSJ. A GOP rag from inception, it’s typical of them to take the side of the “injured” parents. I’ll bet 90% of the parents are Trump supporters and can’t understand why that would be a deal breaker for their children.

It is perfectly legal for police to request drivers license and registration during a traffic stop. Those who refuse are going to face consequences. Simply comply. To get to the point where they pull you out is the fault of the driver. That being said, yes - it’s ripe with abuse. 😡
