I really like the painted look of the double feature color border. but yeah I'm in the same boat with Meren: which of these awesome versions of (x) card should I run.

facts. I'm lucky to be here after almost pulling the trigger (literally) and only recently stabilized after dealing with it since my teen years

I like the occasional Double Feature foil in a deck (like Dredge has some) so that's my choice.

So I wrote that Yidris was my first deck because well I bought it and even made changes but it wasn't until I bought commander anthologies and played Meren that I found commander really enjoyable. Meren just clicked and I've never been without a meren deck since.

Casting cost seems reasonable for fun commander play. Reminds me of Role Reversal from WAR

I replaced all the basics of my Yidris precon with taplands and jam packed the deck with high cmc cards. I did not understand commander at first (I'm mainly a 60 card player)
