I'm increasingly convinced that The Salvation Army - a small Christian denomination and a fairly large social services agency all around the world - is not well understood in broader society. What they do, how, where and why seems largely to be under the radar of most people

We have given each other the same card for the last 10 years. It’s become a happy tradition for us (not to mention the saving).
