I remember back in high school when people would try claiming discrimination when they handed in the most half-assed assignments you'd ever lay eyes on, some things never change.

This game was my introduction to more X-Men characters than I could count, good times.

This is what I wish comic fans (or really any fandom for that matter,) would understand. It's fine to not like a thing, it's even fine to downright hate a thing, but there's no excuse for respecting a fictional character more than a real human being.
