Touch grass.

Yeah…. Keep going. Again. Literally a therapist cyberbullying. Why the left lost
March 14, 2025 at 4:42 AM
Do you dogpile like this every day? Maybe I should look at your history.
March 14, 2025 at 4:40 AM
Yeah because you’re a fucking jerk. I wish people like you would get excised from the movement
March 14, 2025 at 4:39 AM
Yes I know you’re very arrogant and have to purity test every person who suggests a different solution. I know all of this is happening yet here you are wailing like a baby about it. God forbid I suggest something else. I reported your initial comment. Anybody else will get the same treatment.

I agree there should have been a plan earlier to limit DOGE and dare repubs to vote against. I also think blue states should try to nullify certain laws the feds pass. I just think our leverage can be used in later fights too and I want trump and musks buffoonery to be way out in the open.
March 14, 2025 at 3:26 AM
One of the longest shutdowns happened in 19 and trump used it to take money from the pentagon to fund the wall. It worked. With this DOGE could not only shut down an agency, but refuse to let it reopen and then there’s less of a known spectacle for the press to focus on. Hiding the ball more
March 14, 2025 at 3:19 AM
Again- bad vs worse. At best it’s a wash. I could say the same thing about you being for musk and trump exploiting a power vacuum. Which did happen in 2019 by the way
March 14, 2025 at 3:06 AM
The collective memory of funding fights is incredibly weak except for political junkies in my opinion. What I’m afraid of is how shutting down could give more power to musk to determine which agencies reopen. It’s an issue of bad and worse. Absolutely put the dems that vote for this on blast tho
March 14, 2025 at 2:56 AM
I just don’t think shutting down the government would have led to more concessions.
March 14, 2025 at 2:48 AM
Why is a therapist picking on me when we know that’s ethically wrong? lol go lose your license on someone else
March 14, 2025 at 2:43 AM
None of you know of any plan if we shut down. Stop grifting
March 14, 2025 at 2:39 AM
It’s a slippery slope though and what they should have done is actually tried to put in stops to musks power earlier but it didn’t happen. Just “opposing fascism” isn’t a policy. They had no plan. I don’t think you do either. So your point is ridiculous
March 14, 2025 at 2:30 AM
This is something where I support having more profitable companies pay their fair share in taxes but trump and musk are slashing and burning way too fast. There will always be companies taking advantage of fiscal subsidies and tax cuts, particularly in oil, gas, and the military’s contractors

Thanks for supporting this over in NE. We have this law in Colorado from a recent ballot initiative too
March 2, 2025 at 10:06 PM
@mcuban.bsky.social you did oppose Harris’ capital gains tax on people making over $100 million. I didn’t think it was perfect but it could have been a start. Higher marginal income rates won’t always help unless you get rid of a bunch of deductions and credits, and some of us don’t have the money
March 1, 2025 at 9:40 PM
I think in 26 and 28 we need to make media posts for every swing state or close state that “your ballot may NOT be counted IF:” and we list all of the possible mistakes one can make. For Pennsylvania that might be naked undated ballots, for GA, that might mean looking up the precinct you vote in
February 19, 2025 at 12:20 AM
It’s true. I’m thankful my united health care employer plan didn’t YEET me too much. I had to go to a physicians assistant, consult a surgeon, and get an ultrasound to find out I needed hernia surgery for this weird protruding out of my upper chest.

Hope for the best, prepare for the worst
February 17, 2025 at 2:55 AM
Might be a ballsy move, but states don’t pay our federal taxes do they?
