DJs message me saying that my song selection was good, but I was playing each track too long. I know I would go to IRL clubs and just when I was getting into a song, only a minute or two played and boom, mix in the next track, would drive me crazy. LOL! But hey, I'm a newbie DJ, what do I know.

I can truly appreciate the 1 hour set on one hand. I've been in many clubs in VR and have listened to some great one hour sets, but as a new DJ, I like letting a song breathe, especially when it comes to house music and the subgenres. With the mixes I've posted on Soundcloud, I've had several

While I do 100 percent agree with this, I also look at it as a result of our society right now and the instant gratification syndrome, if that makes sense. Luckily, there are outlets for the longer sets like Twitch, Soundcloud, etc. I don't think we'll ever get back to that old style again. :)

very kind of you to say. You and @extroid.bsky.social were the first two DJs I saw in VRChat and I remember it like it was yesterday. I logged off thinking, man, I really want to DJ after your sets! I'm usually quiet in the corner just listening to your sets, but I am paying attention! :)

I'm sure I've missed a few, but those names were off the top of my head. Thank you all for being an inspiration to me! It makes me want to be a better DJ.

Couldn't agree more. I've only been in VRChat for a year and about several months into playing, I discovered the music/club scene and was blown away. The DJs and dancers have inspired me to want to learn to DJ to someday play sets in VRChat! So glad you are having a blast!

It definitely looked like you were having a blast. The entire time I was there, you didn't stop dancing! It was fun to watch someone having such a great time!
