The situation in the US makes me fear the worst. The rise of fascism in the country of my birth is horrifying. We must somehow resist, persist, and overcome. Today in Hiroshima, I bore witness to the evil potential of man. History must not be allowed to repeat itself. May peace prevail on earth!
