Our population is old and poor. Our elderly depend on Social Security - many have no savings or investments at all (my parents included). Medicaid and Medicare not only help our elderly get healthcare, without them all the hospitals around us would be out of business.

I live in a county with more cows than people in Elise Stefanik's district. All the good jobs are with the school systems, the hospitals, or the government. They voted for a man who is committed to destroying all three.
