here's how I had them angled, it's how it came with the STL. I assume to avoid overhang from the ends of the teeth. keep in mind the base and supports are new, for my second future attempt.

yup, substance designer with some custom nodes from others and some I made myself. ones I made myself are a bricks generator that takes a simple pattern and turns it into bricks, and this huge-ass quake colorizer that outputs 25ish color variations compatible with the quake palette

and the very last, the Golem. it's a person-shaped cluster of concrete and rebar and meat. it throws rebar stakes at the player and can only be killed by explosives

the undead, starting with the amalgam. a concrete column bursting with hungry mouths and lashing teeth. he's a floating area denial monster that spits out caltrops the player has to look out for while fighting

and lastly the player. her name is Rover (a bit of a play on Ranger from the original Quake). these whacky armor colors are what Quake uses to denote swappable player colors.

everyone's favorite (and mine) The Champion, or Deathknight. she stands at 7 feet tall with a sword as tall as some other units. the voice actor interpreted her as completely feral, so we didn't give her a radio. she just has handlers that point her in a direction to kill.

the Knight is a fully melee unit. he's more armored than the standard trenchknights. his mace is based on the kind of trench maces used in WWI. the helmet isn't really based on anything, I made it up mostly
