Cool. I get the intention, all well and good. But then how was he able to sign up for basically the same email address as I have? Surely that's open to more abuse than mere impersonation?

Gmail sometimes seems to forget to differentiate between accounts with a dot and ones without. joebloggs / joe.bloggs. I regularly get emails sent to literally not my email address because we have the same email apart from the dot. I have had some juicy emails - bro's having an affair. Naughty boy.
