Awesome. My parents had this record, and I played it relentlessly. It was my gateway into ”synthetic music”.

As an olds guy, I sometimes get criticized for my proper capitalization, my commas, my semicolons, my lack of ellipsis and my full stops. All I can say is: Punctuation will continue until morale improves.

I’ve in fact had to have this discussion with some people, and had a very hard time convincing them that maybe the urine wasn’t the problem; what else are your finger touching, and what’s its nearest neighbor? Didn’t work. Assholes full of their ”brilliance”.

I remember typing in program listings and being very, very eternally grateful that the listing actually contained check digits at the end of every line. It was a game changer.

I remember them trying to introduce a weird decimal ”Internet time” based on the longitude of their HQ in the small town of Biel, Switzerland. Beats!

I was going to “Well akshually that’s a galette”, but apparently it can also be a Crêpe Bretonne. Mmm, requires more research.

One month isn’t enough. They should have to do it at least for a year or two, so all the reserves, formal and informal, run out. So they get the taste of real delicious despair; that’s what they deserve. And the bad teeth.
