We had these in Cambridge for a while (Co-op were using them for deliveries). Often used to see them waiting at pedestrian crossings - could never work out if they had some mechanism to operate it, or if they just sat there until a human needed to cross the road.

It's going to be interesting to see if EE continue to offer Game Pass Ultimate as an "Inclusive Extra" on their mobile contracts. It's felt quite the bargain, especially since the last price hike.

There was a startup called Scroll which attempted something like this but it got bought by Twitter and subsumed into Twitter Blue before the Elon takeover.

For years I've wanted micro payments to succeed. A wallet that I can top up and use to view individual articles in exchange for a small payment (and a good reading experience - no popups, overlays, intrusive subscription requests etc.).

Wasn't Street Fighter 2 on the SNES also notably expensive at launch? I didn't have a SNES of course - not least because the games were so expensive!

Starting to see low alcohol beer on tap around here - Adnam's Ghost Ship 0.5% mainly - extremely drinkable stuff.

Although the fact you can drink multiple "pints" and remain perfectly legal to drive is somewhat disconcerting.

Rx is a great paradigm, but the debugging experience is definitely an issue. Do you think that's an intractable problem - or is it just because no one has yet built the required tooling?
