The USA is clearly pivoting away from Europe and towards Russia on every front - political, commercial, cultural, ideological, spiritual. The UK currently has some protection through Trump's love of the Royal Family. But that will disappear the instant Vance becomes President.

The whole episode was a disgrace on both countries' parts. And Trump's attempt to spring a meeting between the family and the driver was sickeningly insensitive. It showed the same level of moral ignorance as we see in his treatment of Zelensky and Ukraine.

Disappointed that The Knowledge has included Tesco in its roundup of villains for 'describing a plastic Christmas tree it is selling as an "evergreen tree”'. But no surprise given that it also names Clay Higgins, the only member of the House to vote against releasing the Epstein files, as a 'hero'.
