An aspect of the Signal #WhiskeyLeaks that I haven't heard mentioned is that adding a journalist is a huge security vulnerability. A journalist is already a target of foreign intelligence; if their unsecured device was compromised that Intel agency now gets to read our war plans. 👊🇺🇸🔥

I read "The Case for Letting Malibu Burn" 21 years ago at UCSD. Rereading it after watching the Palisades and Altadena burn leaves me wondering if we'll ever get over the short-term financial rewards and listen to the environmental scientists telling us the hard truths.
