Shadowtober Entry 10: Arakumo

Frequency: Indevidual

Entity type: Eldritch Monstrosity

Threat Level: 7
Bio: Among the oldest and most powerful of the Eldritch Monstrosities, Arakumo is a force to be reckoned with. He is almost as old as the Malice King, but found his strength in the fear of spiders rather than darkness. He can split himself almost infinitely down to smaller forms, but his true form is enormous, around 75 meters(247 feet) in diameter. Despite his animalistic appearence, he’s just as sapient as the other eldritch monstrosities, cold, calculating, devoid of humor, and every bit as evil as the others. He’s among the Eldritch Monstrosities that most often eat humans, and he is sure to take his time with them, watching as the venom puts them through hell, or slowly dissolving them, but by bit. He lives in a huge forested part of the Shadow of Reality, where he has spun a massive web, several kilometers in diameter. Abilities: aside from being able to split apart into smaller forms, Arakumo’s venom is incredibly potent, and can have a variety of effects, the most horrible one being literally ejecting hundreds of tiny spiders into his victims skin, crawling around and bursting out from under it. He can also generate an infinite amount of webs, which are near impossible to escape, as well as cast spells of various kinds. Weakness: Just like his lesser forms, fire magic is the only way to do any substantial damage.

Shadowtober Entry 9: Dividrons

Frequency: Rare

Entity type: Native Inhabitants

Threat Level: 3
Bio: Dividrons are flying creatures native to the Shadow of Reality, who have existed since its creation. They are usually around 11-12 meters in length. The throat of their vertical jaws has a large glowing eye-like organ in them, which is what they use to consume their primary food source: souls. The many teeth in their mouths is moreso to hold their prey in place as their soul is consumed, than actually shredding them apart, though they are fully capable of that as well. Abilities: They can fly through the air with no constraints of physics holding them back. They can also utilize the souls they’ve eaten to cadt various types of spells modstæy unique to the Dividrons. Weakness: While having no particular weakness among the magic types, aiming an attack at their soul sucker organ will be very effective.

Shadowtober Entry 8: Arbiters

Frequency: Rare

Entity type: Unknown

Threat Level: 1 (4 if you are a mage)
Bio: The Arbiters are sentinals of Order in the greater universe, enforcers of the balance between the Light Side and the Shadow of Reality. They were created a very long time ago by the Overseer of the Grey Spire’s usage of a mysterious artifact. They eventually broke away from him, as they were not content with simply guarding the spire, and saw it more efficient to enforce order throughout the universe, with only a few remaining at the Spire. Their base of operations contains an enormous, complicated bureaucracy that is incredibly tedious to go through for anything that isn’t an arbiter. Arbiters are all simply reffered to by their number assigned to them from the order they were created in. Abilities: Arbiters are very skilled at magic, each one being particularly skilled at specific types of magic. Four, the leader of the deserter arbiters, can create weapons out of portal matter, and arms their subordinates with them. These blades can cut through just about everything, with very few exceptions. Weakness: While arbiters do not have a specific weakness, they are far from invinvible, and can be killed with powerful enough magic. One thing to note, is that some arbiters have a tendency to underestimate their opponents, which can be used against them

Shadowtober Entry: 7: Hydro Shapes

Frequency: Uncommon

Entity type: Eldritch Subordinate

Threat Level: 3
Bio: Eerie water creatures, and one of the main subordinates of the Eldritch Monstrosity of the dark sea. Some believe them to be derived from souls of people who have drowned, but the process of their creation is still somewhat unknown. Hydro Shapes can only manifest in water, or damp areas, and cannot tread on dry land, making rain the only time they can roam land freely. As is the case with every subordinate they are almost as evil as their master. Abilities: Hydro Shapes can look like any dark silhouette in the water they wish, achieving near perfect camouflage. When prey is caught, they wrap themselves around them, and usully bite ahold of them as well, either dragging them into the abyss, or suffocating them by filling their lungs with water. One thing that is consistent, is that their victims deaths are almost always the result of drowning. Weakness: While direct fire is naturally uneffective to them, extreme heat and dryness is the most effective way of destroying them.

Shadowtober Entry 6: The Overseer Of The Great Grey Spire

Frequency: Indevidual

Entity type: unknown

Threat Level: 1 (7 should he see you as a threat to the Spire)
Bio: The Great Grey Spire is a massive structure found in the Center of the Shadow of Reality. It serves as the only permanent way to travel between it and the Light Side. Within this Spire, its Overseer resides. Not much is known about him, only that he seems to be as ancient as the Shadow of Reality itself, and is near all-knowing. He oversees not just the Spire, but both realms it bridges together, his eighteen eye clad tentacles stretching out to the corners of them, to observe the ongoings in each, however, he never interferes in anything that happens outside the Spire. He has deeper insights into most things in the Shadow of Reality and its inhabitants than any other entity. The Overseer is a fully neutral entity, showing no hostility to man or monster alike, so long as the spire is not threatened, in which case, his true terrifying power would be on full display. Abilities: The Overseer can rip open portals like it is nothing, and knows every spell ever written down. On top of that, he even has access to abilities that seemingly perfectly replicate both Eldritch Monstrosities and their oppositions, something no other entity can do. It is unknown what the full extent of his abilities are. Weakness: No known weakness. The only thing that could be seen as one, is that the Overseer never leaves the Spire.
