Pt showed most if not all of my muscle strength held, but that movement was indeed needed as I'm super stiff all over. Tomorrow though I'm going to visit my main drs office as I'm pretty sure I'll need more antibiotics to fully heal from this mess.

I'm now giving it a 50/50 chance of my being able to keep instead of cancelling it. Because today I was barely managing 30 minute drives on fairly straight roads& pt is about 75 minutes of twisty roads & 30 of straight at higher speeds, so I need the pain low enough to drive easily again!

I got an antibiotic from a script from the urgent care clinic today, after seeing the nurse practitioner wince at seeing said mess, so now I expect one night of the pain worsening a touch before starting to see a bit of healing or at least lowered pain tomorrow night. My next pt visit being Thursday

Subaru being another great option, glad that truck is gone, so now you can try to stretch that 39mph to 49mpg , instead of the 13 that likely often only did 8...

About 50 pieces of said potatoes planted yesterday, most of the seed potatoes overall now cut up, some dried enough & some not. About 20 silver rose seed garlic cloves planted today too so progress is being made.

Yes to all of this - especially the striking a match part and the UBI.

A 2year level college degree in human services, over 5years working in said field, being disabled basically since birth & now as a 40year old, I'm overall of the ilk that the best way to "fix" the human services system is to build a parallel one before striking a match to burn down the old/current 1!

of care & money's for direct assistance being the tiniest sliver of the economic & jobs held in costs. It's amongst the reasons why a real UBI would be so much better as a leading part of a social welfare system, as with that, people in need&their families could just buy the items or hire the people.

It really is a matter of layers of work farming of the economically poor & disabled, included in said layers being all the government processors of paperwork, the Drs & other pro examiners paid/incentivized to deny/error out most & advocacy/legal agencies to fix said "errors".The actual providers>>

I hate it with a passion, but with all the energy I so often need to use to get through things, caused over 90% by systems designed to cause harm& added work, I rarely have energy left to advocate for the many needed changes. (*Apologies btw if my bit of gallows humor in any way offended you.)

Because the government feels the continual need to torture disabled & poor people, to have us "earn" their low quality & high cost services.

The very fact that it's even possible much less probable for you, or anyone else, to be kicked out of a pt clinic for missing appointments, is indeed a display of the systemic problem of getting decent care. 😤

After over a month of trying to coax the hand focused physical therapist into teaching me how to write correctly, I realized I had to end said battle, get some books & use YouTube for the rest. As my dual enrollment policy & medical offices keep my insurance specialist busy with their errors.🙃
