I appreciate people trying to empathize, and find common ground, but 'we are not the same' is a fantastic way to put it. We shouldn't all be the same. That would make the tapestry of humanity drab AF. We need understanding and diversity, not performative assimilation.

I do appreciate that this guy apologized. I an getting a little tired though of people declaring themselves nerdy to fit in better. Like its fine to be mundane, just like it's fine to be a larper. I blame Big Bang Theory for making everyone feel like they need to roleplay being nerds. Actions>words
