Random thoughts on #NUFC
I still think there's a player in there who can offer us something different (not just pace but the inverted option due to his strong weaker foot) but until he builds confidence from doing the basics he'll continue to frustrate #NUFC

It's not working at all for him and he needs a shot of confidence from a goal or an assist. Only then will we see what he can actually offer as an inverted winger. Today was so frustrating as he had a few chances to go at his man and didn't take it, ironically slowing down our attacks. #NUFC

Nonsense.

He can also run himself into the ground knowing he doesn't have to see through the 90.

Ironically I can't tell if this is a man or a woman.

I thought Ramsey was very good throughout tonight. Maybe starting to find his rhythm...

Murphy, maybe? Tino LB.

That's subjective though, isn't it? I'd argue there have been a lot of mitigating circumstances this season and Howe had proven he can learn before.

The lack of training is definitely something we can learn from, and thankfully for this season that'll change in January.

There are reasons to be concerned, performances away from home have been dreadful, without a doubt. But is now really the time to make that decision? Potentially in another semifinal. Possibility of progressing in CL. 6 PTS from CL position. Wissa returning and allowing us to play differently.

I get that people are upset but don't understand why some people think the nuclear option is the best one.

As well as a win, we need a reaction/strong performance tonight. Sunday is done and we have to treat this game as the season starts now. It means everyone supporting the team and not looking for the next opportunity to complain (as justified as some of that is).

Social media noise, which makes little difference to the decision makers. I'm sure there won't be any "Howe Out" chanting, banners at the game. FWIW I don't think we should be making any decisions mid-season as he's still got enough credit in the bank, but understand patience is wearing thin w some.

I think mid-table is our most likely finish as things stand. I'm sure European football is the minimum expectation and only a cup win seems likely to offer that right now. The only thing I can see turning things around for Howe are if we make a couple of Jan signings that hit the ground running.
