I currently have the privilege of working with multiple schools in multiple states. I see and sense a lack of joy. I think there are a number of contributing factors. I think the national dialogue perpetuated by a lot of people who have never actually taught is the biggest contributor.

Historically there has been trial and error in how people have attempted to protest. If it gets people to begin thinking and asking questions then perhaps that is the place to start.

Perhaps the first step is not a demand, but a retraining for us as consumers. I would argue a majority of folks in our country are not ready for a sustained shift in their consumerism. Starting with staggered one day boycotts could begin to change habit. And to hurt those pulling political strings

The Montgomery Bus Boycott started as one day.

Actually it does make a difference. Go look up some history.
