I, too, was dismayed at the sparsity of youthful faces at the protests I attended. Where are all the college students?? We old folks are on the way out. Their lives will be much more impacted than ours. Can’t they see the urgency?? Have we failed in teaching them?

Oh, Joni! You are so out of touch with your constituents and what is going on in Iowa and the rest of the country. It’s a good thing you are retiring. There were about 150 people protesting in Pella, Ia and all doing it just because we love our country!
