I’m just scratching my head over how players like Tonali, Gordon and Barnes can look so shot to pieces

Is it just me that’s worried about his ability to seemingly only coach when we’re not in Europe and have training ground time? To get to where we need to be, we need a manager who can fight at least semi decently on 2-3 fronts, once of which being the PL to qualify for Europe for revenue

Makes sense - I feel as we become a more “sat in against” team, we need less of the Joelinton profile (in retrospect, ideal time to sell him was before contract extension) and more technically gifted midfielders I guess.

What profile would you target? Do you think the midfield is unbalanced right now and we need to add something or just adding a developmental player?

It’s bad but I also kind of understand it - if we make it a scrap then we likely don’t win that and we only hype the crowd up more - maybe I’m being blinkered tho
