The threat of cards like Vorinclex or Jin-Gitaxias being cheated out early is addressed in the brackets themselves (no lock pieces before turn 6 or no mass land denial). It's good they're whittling down redundant entries.

I like the shift in emphasis to pressure—when to expect game-changing threats, when the onus falls on other players to answer them.

I need her to have a LED-like ability that discards your hand, transforms Emma, and adds that much white mana.

The speed of games. Not only do games end earlier, but the point where they become tense occurs way sooner as well. It feels like there's no opportunity to play inefficient strategies or even to catch your breath between bombs.
