got some good games in today: a couple more plays of tinderblox, a few rounds of bullet ❤️, and even a victory in cthulhu death may die (only one episode away from finishing season 3!)

my most played boardgames for the month of may. played a lot of bga this month; making it a soft-goal to try out as many games on there as i can. maybe eventually all of them but like, that's a thousand games. good month! #bgstats

a productive boardgaming month, but i have really been itching to get some heavier stuff to the table. not pictured, but i did learn and play castles of burgundy twice. turns out, it's a classic for a reason. also the mtg plays happened at aetherdrift prerelease!

🎲 another average-ish performance at link city, the game where my partner gets mad at me for not knowing how cities work. really good game.

🎲 played a nice three player game of Can't Stop tonight. i haven't seen this version of the board before, i thought it was always the big plasticky thing instead of this little neoprene stopsign and wooden pieces.

🎲 my partner got me cascadia for christmas and beat me by 3 in our first play. late to the party, but the components feel super premium, from the cardstock to the wooden animal tokens to the rulebook and the scorepad.

🎲 nice game night with the brother in law. forgot to take any pictures until we were already winding down with some lacuna, but it was a great time.
got a very tight win in marvel champions, tried the new mtg jumpstart packs, and played unmatched for the first time.

🎲 a very family/party game heavy November, and a lot of good two player games with my partner. a lot of these were borrowed from the library, which is super fun to test run a game a couple times.

🎲 played the TTS demo of iv studio's boardgame Tend. my cargo manifest was a tragedy of disorganization and I never once took the titular "tend" action which was probably a mistake, but I had a good time anyways and ended with 173 points
