We’ve also been informed of parish email accounts being compromised and used to send messages requesting financial help. These emails are extremely convincing as they come from trusted email addresses. Unfortunately, this has led to some individuals sending money.

The scam involves an email claiming to be from Bishop David. While it appears convincing, the sender’s address - [email protected] - is not associated with Bishop David or the diocese. If you receive such an email, please delete it immediately and do not reply.

The theme for the day was ‘Sharing Faith, Inspiring Mission’, and the speaker was Marie Aitken, author of 'Keep it Simple - How to Share your Jesus Story with Clarity and Confidence'.
