I have spent a good while today taking four brass door handles from severely tarnished and dull to almost their former glory. One is having a second vinegar bath and then I'll do a final round of polishing. I can't tell you how satisfying this is for me.

Productive morning so far. By 8am I had some baked rustic baguettes and rusks, and the rusks are busy drying. Pictured here with Labrador bum.
