I assume this is because a reform government would be a total disaster in every regard and labour expect to pick up the pieces in the next election after that, whereas a green government might actually work and then the greens would keep winning?

He was just a bad person. He said all sorts of stuff just to "win" arguments and justify being so fundamentally loathsome. He obviously never thought he'd suffer any of the consequences he claimed he was okay with.

I got in in the early 2000's so as the Internet was making things easier to find but not trivial. I was always finding stuff I'd like from years prior even when watching the newest stuff I could find. Realising the majority of anime fans stick with the current stuff really confused me
