In an attempt to continue to resist sugar, I bought every single protein bar/snack I could find that I cared to try.
I'm gonna review each one as I eat them.
I have a massive sweet tooth but I also havent had sugar in a month so this is could go many different ways

firmer than id like it to be, but still more soft than not, but also not super crunchy. it tastes like a generic peanut butter protein bar. not bad, 5/10

Tastes like a cinnamon flavored marshmallow covered in chocolate. Not much else to say. Quite tasty, 7/10

Lemony, but very flat. It's pretty sweet but im not tasting white chocolate. Soft texture with a little bit of crispyness. Meh, 5/10

very nice soft texture and the coconut flavor is pleasantly subtle. kinda smells like sunscreen though but i like it. 6/10
I guess I didnt give built puff bars enough of a chance. turns out the cookie dough flavor was just pretty bad.

very nice soft texture and the coconut flavor is pleasantly subtle. kinda smells like sunscreen though but i like it. 6/10

a little fruity, a little chocolatey, pretty firm and not actually crunchy. its like if the elavi brownie was firm and not tasty. 4/10

It's salted on the outside so it realky hits you in the face with that. Then the inside is really soft and chewy, basically tastes like a mildly sweet chocolate covered marshmallow. I think the salt helps bring out the sweetness. Maybe I'm just hungry but this is the best built puff I've tried, 7/10

For some reason this is flatter and denser than other power crunch bars. It tastes a little bit like cheesecake, and there are some chocolate bits that add to the texture. But overall, doesn't come together quite as well as I hoped. Plus, theres quite a bit more sugar and fat than others. 6/10

The honey actually comes through, and at the same time tastes more peanut buttery than the other pb flavor. Actually really tasty, and great texture as usual. One knock against it is it smells like a cough drop, 7/10

On one hand, I'm surprised how closely this resembles a repackaged chocolate covered donut. However, there's something off about it. It's got this sort of twang to it that is kinda off putting, and its not very chocolatey, 5/10

I usually like cherry flavored things but this one's a bit off. Quite tart and sweet, though artificial in bad way. On the bright side, I don't taste any whey. Not bad, 5/10

I think there mightve been something wrong with this batch since it tastes weirdly stale? Anyway, its giving like 2/3 whey, 1/3 peanut butter. Not very sweet, though sweet enough. Nice soft texture for sure. Not bad but not great, 5/10

Very sweet, firm but not too firm. The strawberry flavor is clear but not very dominant, but theres this sort of dried tartness to it. Not amazing but its pretty dang good, 7/10

The flavor is a bit mild but its good and accurate. I was expecting them to be saltier but I'm glad they're not. Again, they're almost exactly like real pretzels so it mostly comes down to the flavor. I like em, 7/10

As I thought, these are pretty dang good. The everything flavor is much better and the pretzel itself is very normal. It's not 100% like a regular pretzel, but it 98%, 7/10

The lime flavor comes through very well, but its all that comes through. The rest is fairly bland, 6/10

Similar to the other one, it's not giving cookie, but rather granola. This one is heavy on the cocoa, but the white chocolate helps a lot. This one's better but not by much. It's also softer than the other, but still quite firm, 6/10

Doesn't really taste like cookie dough. much more like a chocolate chip granola bar that is wayyyy too firm. It's alright though, and has alright macros, 6/10

So of course all of this protein bar shit was part of a weight loss journey. I'm happy to say I've hit my goals, so I had a sugary, fatty feast to celebrate lmao

I guess this was reformulated recently? I never tried the original, but I think a lot of quest bars are getting new recipes. I probably won't deliberately try them but we'll see. Anyway I don't have much to say on this other than that it tastes like a blueberry muffin and its really good lol, 7/10

Also from the cafe, this one was delicious. Nearly tastes like what it says, but with a bit of a fruity breakfast bar slant. Maybe im just hungry but this was probably the best "real food" snack I've had. I wish there was more protein but 1g sat fat, 8g sugar, 0 added is pretty good tbh, 7/10

Another work cafe find. The main ingredient is dates, but luckily I mostly just taste cocoa. Although, it's subtle and not sweet at all. Dense, almost fudge texture. It reminds me more of a clif bar than a brownie, but its not bad. Meh macros, 5/10
